Vintage 1960's-70's Japanese Ayame Knot Obi Kimono Sash Gold Silk. This beautiful gold tone silk obi is in great pre-owned condition. Theres no rips,tears or staining and it comes from a smoke free home. The length is 7' feet and 9"inches long. Ayame musubi (iris) is a very decorative and complex knot that resembles an iris blossom. It is considered suitable for young women in informal situations and parties. Because of the complexity and conspicuousness of the knot it should be worn with more subdued, preferably monochrome kimono and obi.
